The rule streamlines and clarifies procedures to obtain FAA approval for supersonic flight testing in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cToday\u2019s action is a significant step toward reintroducing\ncivil supersonic flight and demonstrates the Department\u2019s commitment to safe\ninnovation,\u201d said U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine L.
