Prior\nto this, he was an Assistant Aviation Director for the Phoenix Aviation\nDepartment, responsible for oversight, leadership and planning of operations,\nsafety, design and construction, and facilities at Phoenix Sky Harbor, Phoenix\nDeer Valley and Phoenix Goodyear airports. Chad has nearly 30 years of\nexperience in the aviation industry, including leadership positions at\nHollywood Burbank Airport and New York\u2019s John F. Kennedy International Airport,\nin addition to DFW and Phoenix. Chad holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in aviation\noperations and management from St. Cloud (MN) State University, and a master of\nbusiness administration from Arizona State University\u2019s W.P. Carey School of\nBusiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cChad brings remarkable airport leadership experience,\ncombined with a deep understanding of Phoenix city government and the\noperations of our three airports. He represents a bright future for effective\ncollaboration between the Aviation Department and the city\u2019s airports,\nemployees, business partners, surrounding neighborhoods and the larger\ncommunity. Chad is the complete package, including his commitment to public\nservice, business acumen and relationship-building talents,\u201d said Ed Zuercher,\nPhoenix City Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBetween the moving of cargo and support operations to the\nnorth side of the airport, the completion of the Phoenix Sky Train and the\nexpansion of the National Guard\u2019s footprint on the south side, there is a lot\nhappening at Sky Harbor and throughout our airport system,\u201d said Mayor Kate\nGallego. \u201cChad\u2019s deep experience in Phoenix and nationally will be immensely\nvaluable in bringing those projects to completion.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cChad is an accomplished leader with broad aviation experience\nwho brings expertise in operations, strategic planning, capital improvement,\nbusiness and economic development.
