Megan Eisenstein was promoted to Managing Director,\nIndustry and Regulatory Affairs and Jake Legere was named Director of Marketing\nand Communications. In her new role as Managing Director, Industry\nand Regulatory Affairs, Eisenstein monitors Executive branch agency activities as\nthey relate to the aviation industry, and acts as the staff liaison to the\nassociation\u2019s Airport Business Committee, Environment Committee, and General\nAviation Airports Committee. She also participates in numerous Aviation\nRulemaking Committees (ARCs), and represents the association at industry and\ngovernment meetings, hearings, and events including the National Fire\nProtection Association\u2019s (NFPA) Technical Committee on Airport Facilities.\nEisenstein received a B.A. from Syracuse University and an MBA in Aviation\nManagement from Dowling College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Jake-Legere.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17018\" width=\"185\" height=\"185\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Jake-Legere.png 500w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Jake-Legere-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Jake-Legere-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Jake-Legere-60x60.png 60w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 185px) 100vw, 185px\" \/><figcaption><em>Jake Legere<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Legere joined the NATA staff in 2015 when he was hired as\nthe Manager of Marketing &amp; Member Services and later served as the Director\nof Member Services. In his new role, Legere will lead NATA\u2019s marketing efforts\nfor member benefits and products &amp; services, as well as manage NATA\u2019s\nsocial media channels and member communications. In that role, she will drive the Association\u2019s efforts to\nexpand industry outreach, increase membership engagement, and strengthen public\nrelations. After beginning her career in public policy on Capitol Hill, Huggard\nspent 15 years as a communications and marketing professional in Massachusetts,\nWisconsin, and Virginia. She\nbrings more than five years of event planning and direction to NATA, as well as\nmore than fifteen years of overall event industry experience. Poppy received\nher B.S. in Hospitality and Event Management from the University of Central\nFlorida and a Master of Arts in Social and Policy from Georgetown University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted to welcome Karen and Christy to the NATA\nteam,\u201d added Obitts. \u201cTheir experience and skill sets are true assets to the\nAssociation as we navigate through today\u2019s realities and into tomorrow\u2019s\nopportunities.
