The circular urges to bring the development\nof UAM into China\u2019s National Strategies and to formulate relevant policies and\nstandards to promote the healthy development of the industry. Such policies and\nstandards, once made, are expected to lay a solid regulatory foundation that\nshould pave the way for China to become the world&#8217;s largest UAM market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The circular also emphasizes the need to speed up the\nlegislative process and promulgation of the official Interim Measures for\nFlights Administration of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), to establish a\ncomprehensive regulatory mechanism for UAVs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/ehang11-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17011\" width=\"307\" height=\"173\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/ehang11-1.jpg 553w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/ehang11-1-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 307px) 100vw, 307px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the State Council\u2019s circular highlights the\npotential application of firefighting UAVs. It calls for establishing\nindustrial standards and regulations to facilitate technological innovations\nthat will promote industrial and practical applications of UAVs in aerial\nfirefighting use cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis circular issued by the State Council reflects the\nChinese government\u2019s great emphasis and strategic support for the new UAM\nindustry.
