In his new role, Mekis will be responsible\nfor Global Jet Capital\u2019s asset management strategy, bringing the Company\u2019s\nbusiness aviation expertise to bear for its customers, monitoring aircraft in\nthe Company\u2019s portfolio and redeploying post-lease aircraft. Prior to his\nappointment to lead the Asset Management function, Tom served as Senior\nAircraft Sales Director for the Company since 2015. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before joining Global Jet Capital, Tom was President of\nPiedmont Aircraft Company, LLC, a sales and brokerage firm he founded in 2009\nthat specialized in the Beechcraft family of aircraft. Prior to that Tom was\nVice President of Aircraft Sales, Charter and Maintenance for Landmark\nAviation, the second largest general aviation provider in the U.S. Earlier in\nhis career, Tom held a series of increasingly senior positions related to\naircraft sales and marketing with Piedmont Hawthorne Aviation.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the course of his career Tom has led organizations\nfocused on aircraft sales, charter, management and maintenance, as well FBO\noperations and management.
