Based on survey results, MSP has been named the Best\nAirport in North America in its size category (25 to 40 million passengers per\nyear) for the past four consecutive years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ACI created the Roll of Excellence in 2011 to recognize\nairports that have consistently delivered excellent services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In notifying MSP of the award, ACI Director General Luis\nFelipe de Oliveira wrote, \u201cMinneapolis-St. Paul International Airport has\nconsistently delivered excellence in customer service by winning multiple ASQ\nawards over a five-year period during the past 10 years and is one of only\nseven airports worldwide that will receive the recognition this year. I am\nconfident that you will continue to be a role model for airport service quality\nexcellence and work with us to raise the bar in service standards and best\npractices within the industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brian Ryks, CEO of the Metropolitan Airports Commission,\nwhich owns and operates MSP, said, \u201cOur aim to provide a fantastic experience\nfor travelers along every step of their MSP journey. It\u2019s important that MSP be\na source of pride for Minnesotans and an airport people from other cities\nchoose for connections between flights.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ryks noted that even now, when air travel demand is low due\nto the coronavirus pandemic, it is important MSP stand out in positive ways.
