{"id":16741,"date":"2020-10-27T12:34:56","date_gmt":"2020-10-27T12:34:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=16741"},"modified":"2020-10-27T12:34:58","modified_gmt":"2020-10-27T12:34:58","slug":"ibac-is-bao-flightplan-stage-1-nominated-for-first-top-flight-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/international-news\/ibac-is-bao-flightplan-stage-1-nominated-for-first-top-flight-award\/%20","title":{"rendered":"IBAC IS-BAO FlightPlan Stage 1 Nominated for First Top Flight Award"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) said it\nwas honored to have the new International Standard for Business Aircraft\nOperations (IS-BAO) FlightPlan Stage 1 Program for small operators nominated by\nthe Aviation International News (AIN) magazine for its first annual Top Flight\nAward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to have this new program recognized by the AIN\neditorial staff and thank them for nominating it for the new Top Flight\nContribution to Safety award,\u201d commented Bennet Walsh, IS-BAO Program Director.\n\u201cThis new program is truly a result of listening to operators around the world.\u201d\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walsh said IS-BAO has always been a scalable standard for\nany size operation. Still, in today\u2019s single aircraft operation, fixed-wing or\nrotor, the resources to implement an SMS can be limited. The key advantage to\nFlightPlan Stage 1 is the highly credentialed and standardized progressive\nimplementor that mentors and walks through the entire process with the operator\nand greatly reduces the time it takes to get to Stage 1. \u201cWe are excited about\nthis program and its ability to make IS-BAO more accessible to more operators\nand ultimately improving their safety culture,\u201d&nbsp;\nadded Walsh. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The innovative FlightPlan Stage 1 Program defines a clear,\nstepped, and simple pathway to IS-BAO Stage 1 registration within 90-180 days\nof initiating the Stage 1 process and includes a specially credentialed implementor\nto streamline the pre-audit process for the small operator.
