He replaces outgoing\nchairman Paul Kirby, of QS Partners, who becomes chairman emeritus of IADA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"116\" height=\"130\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Joe-Carfagna-Jr..jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16619\"\/><figcaption><em>Joe Carfagna<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Carfagna is joined by new Vice Chairman David Monacell, of\nCFS Jets, to lead the organization in 2021. In addition, the board appointed\nZipporah Marmor, of ACASS, as secretary, and Phil Winters, of Western Aircraft,\nas treasurer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"116\" height=\"130\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/David-Monacell.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16620\"\/><figcaption><em>David Monacell<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>They are joined by three at-large members of board,\nincluding Doc Dwyer, of Guardian Jets LLC, Chris Ellis, of Avpro, Inc., and\nPeter Antonenko from Jetcraft. Also continuing to serve in leadership will be\nMichael Amalfitano, of Embraer, as the OEM member representative and Keith\nHayes, from PNC Aviation Finance, who represents the Products and Services\nmembers on the board, as will Andrew Young, of AMSTAT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New Chairman Carfagna is president of Leading Edge. He\ngraduated from the University of Delaware, with a bachelor&#8217;s degree in business\nadministration. The new chairman has in-depth knowledge of most of the\ncorporate jet markets and has sold or acquired models of King Air, Citation,\nLearjet, Embraer, Hawker, Falcon, Challenger, Global Express, and Gulfstream\naircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The entire organization welcomes our new board of\ndirectors, who will lead the organization as we all emerge from the personal\nand economic consequences of the global pandemic which began earlier this year.\nThey bring a depth of executive transactional expertise that will continue to\nprovide insight and perspective, further strengthening our board,&#8221; said\nIADA Executive Director Wayne Starling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Paul Kirby,\nwho brilliantly led the organization through the most unprecedented disruption\nin the industry&#8217;s history, as we grappled with the personal and business costs\nof the ongoing pandemic,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IADA&#8217;s dealer organizations and individual brokers do\nbusiness in more than 100 countries. They consist of the top seven percent of\nthe world&#8217;s aircraft dealers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They utilize <a href=\"http:\/\/www.AircraftExchange.com\">www.AircraftExchange.com<\/a>, an online marketplace listing only aircraft offered exclusively for sale or lease by IADA members. All IADA dealers have been accredited by the organization, and brokers also receive certification, both through strenuous approval processes to ensure the utmost professionalism and integrity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IADA members participate in a program of ongoing education\nto remain current on best practices and new developments in acquiring and\nselling business aircraft, as well as abiding by a strict code of ethics,\nintegrity and transparency. IADA represents a variety of IADA verified product\nand aviation services that also operate with the highest professional standards\nin the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IADA is a professional trade association formed more than 25\nyears ago, promoting the growth and public understanding of the aircraft resale\nindustry.
