{"id":16595,"date":"2020-10-08T12:44:43","date_gmt":"2020-10-08T12:44:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=16595"},"modified":"2020-10-08T12:44:44","modified_gmt":"2020-10-08T12:44:44","slug":"washington-state-commercial-aviation-commission-will-meet-virtually-for-october-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/state-news\/washington\/washington-state-commercial-aviation-commission-will-meet-virtually-for-october-meeting\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Washington State Commercial Aviation Commission Will Meet Virtually for October Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Commercial Aviation Coordinating Commission (CACC) will\nmeet virtually for its fourth meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 21, to discuss the\nneeds of commercial aviation in Washington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and\nPrevention and the state\u2019s Safe Start plan, about decreasing the COVID-19 risk,\nthe meeting will be held online. Members of the public can participate\nvirtually (details below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Wednesday, Oct. 21 meeting will include staff updates\nand developments since the last meeting (July 22), a discussion on recommended\ndeliverables to the legislature in January 2021, a potential extension of the\nCACC timeline, and updated evaluation criteria based on individual commission\nmember input.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guest speakers are planned for presentations on sustainable\naviation fuel and the Federal Aviation Administration\u2019s environmental review\nprocess. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The public will be able to hear and see the CACC virtual\nmeeting via internet access with their computer, tablet or phone. A public\ncomment period is scheduled at the start of the meeting. Those who are\ninterested in submitting comments or suggestions to the CACC can do so via\nemail to cacc@wsdot.wa.gov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Free, temporary internet access is available to those who do\nnot have broadband service in locations throughout the state.
