Three of the four\nchambers are \u201cman-rated\u201d allowing human occupancy for future initiatives. The\nfourth chamber can be utilized for equipment and various research testing\nscenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ETC\u2019s suite of chambers will support activities for the U.S.\nGovernment\u2019s aeromedical research mission, which include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Human performance assessment in moderate and\nhigh altitude conditions;<\/li><li>Aircrew equipment development, qualification and\nMan Rating;<\/li><li>Operationally focused aeromedical research;<\/li><li>Non-medical engineering test work for aircraft\/weapons\nprograms.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Among other things, the final contract resolution\nincorporated into the contract the technical provisions of an engineering\nchange proposal that made minor modifications to the device specification to\nconform it to the as-delivered suite of Research Altitude Chambers, provided\nfor the U.S. Air Force\u2019s final acceptance, resulted in an addition to the\ncontract base price of approximately two percent (2%), and resolved all\npotential claims regarding contract changes and program delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>States Robert L.
