The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) announced\nthe launch of the first rapid COVID-19 testing program for airport employees in\nthe United States, partnering with Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care to\nprovide employee testing both on-airport and at nearby Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent\nBay Area care locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The program launched with the testing of airline flight\ncrews in late July. The on-airport testing facility, located in the\nInternational Terminal, is currently returning test results in less than an\nhour, and anticipates further reductions in test result wait times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The GoHealth Urgent Care Return to Work program provides\nknowledgeable and experienced clinical guidance and resources, rapid COVID-19\ntesting capabilities and a tailored COVID-19 care program to evaluate, test and\ncare for airport employees to ensure their ongoing health and well-being. SFO\nselected the GoHealth Urgent Care program to streamline the process and protect\nits employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care\u2019s dedicated COVID-19\ntesting area (located outside of the terminal and away from passenger traffic)\nwill be available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, and employees will be able to\nsave their spot in advance online via the GoHealth Urgent Care link shared by\ntheir employer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
