In June the association members also\nhad a good month, making 74 deals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/IADA-2020-Summer-Salesedit-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16261\" width=\"392\" height=\"306\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IADA-2020-Summer-Salesedit-1.jpg 750w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IADA-2020-Summer-Salesedit-1-300x235.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 392px) 100vw, 392px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Those 177 deals in the past two months compare with 100\ntotal in April and May, a 77 percent increase over the two-month period. In\naddition, August began with 87 additional aircraft under sales contracts. And\nfewer deals fell apart in June and July &#8211; 27 versus 38 in April and May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Our dealers reported exceptionally brisk activity\nin June and July after a protracted period in March, April and May where the\ndeals were much harder to put together,&#8221; said IADA Executive Director\nWayne Starling. &#8220;IADA dealers also experienced a reduced percentage of\ndeals where lowered prices were integral to completing the deal.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, IADA accredited dealers registered 19 new\ncommitments to purchase aircraft in June and July, and 52 acquisition\nagreements in the same period. The group also was exclusively retained to sell\n217 aircraft in the past four months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IADA is a professional trade association formed more than\n25 years ago, promoting the growth and public understanding of the aircraft\nresale industry.
