The\n4th installment of the GHSS will be held from September 22-24, 2020, featuring\nkeynote speaker, Neil Smith, Secretary General, International Union of\nAerospace Insurers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new format will feature 2-3 one hour sessions per day,\nwhich will continue the momentum this event has gained over the past few years,\nwhile maintaining the interactive spirit of the in-person GHSS and allowing\nadditional participation from attendees far and wide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Session topics will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Aircraft Movement Damage: How, Why and What Do\nWe Do<\/li><li>Aircraft Operators\u2019 Perspective on Ground\nHandling<\/li><li>Complacency Challenge<\/li><li>Engaging Aircraft OEMs in Ground Handling Safety<\/li><li>GHSS Case Studies<\/li><li>Managing Fatigue in a Ground Handling Operation<\/li><li>Panel Discussions<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees will learn solutions for the operational safety\nneeds of FBOs and other GA ground handlers in an interactive, digital platform.\nThe GHSS will consist of panel discussions, keynote speeches, case studies, and\ntownhall-style sharing sessions spread throughout the day so attendees can\nbalance work with continuing safety education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Symposium is intended for safety professionals,\ndirectors, line service managers, operations managers, flight departments, and\nothers. Attendees will also have multiple opportunities to network with\ncolleagues and industry experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cContinuous education, vigilance, and improvement are key to\noperational safety \u2013 that is why we knew that moving the GHSS online was the\nbest option. Since the event\u2019s inception 4 years ago, the GHSS is a membership\nfavorite, consistently achieving high ratings from attendees.
