{"id":15942,"date":"2020-07-14T12:26:37","date_gmt":"2020-07-14T12:26:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=15942"},"modified":"2020-07-14T12:26:39","modified_gmt":"2020-07-14T12:26:39","slug":"metron-aviation-and-flightaware-announce-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/international-news\/metron-aviation-and-flightaware-announce-partnership\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Metron Aviation and FlightAware Announce Partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>FlightAware will provide Metron Aviation with access to the\nworld\u2019s largest flight tracking network and data fusion platform, including\ndata from FlightAware\u2019s terrestrial Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast\n(ADS-B) receivers in more than 195 countries delivering extensive flight data\nand surveillance position updates that will provide a valuable resource for\nMetron Aviation\u2019s portfolio of Air Traffic Management (ATM) services and tools.\nThe broad coverage of the world&#8217;s air traffic that FlightAware offers provides\nreal value to Metron Aviation&#8217;s abilities to provide highly accurate demand\npredictions, for a more comprehensive operational picture, hours ahead of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the first initiative of this relationship, Metron\nAviation in partnership with CANSO will supply global ANSPs with their Horizon\nproduct with integrated FlightAware surveillance data as a complementary\nSoftware as a Service (SaaS) solution. Horizon will provide real-time demand\nprediction capabilities for airports and airspace to help mitigate the\nuncertainty regarding the restart of air traffic operations as the industry\nbegins to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FlightAware is a digital aviation company and operates the\nworld&#8217;s largest flight tracking and data platform.
