This new\nand innovative approach will continue to feature a traditional air display, but\nthere will be no static display, food vendors or other displays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2987edit2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15939\" width=\"271\" height=\"195\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2987edit2.jpg 500w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2987edit2-300x216.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 271px) 100vw, 271px\" \/><figcaption><em>U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds<\/em><br><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Airshow London has always adhered to advanced safety\nmeasures as the show&#8217;s highest priority is the well-being of guests, volunteers\nand performers. Now with COVID-19, new measures will be introduced that conform\nto public health guidelines to ensure an experience that minimizes risk to\nhealth and safety to everyone involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airport grounds can accommodate 2500 cars with this\nsocially responsible model. Guests will arrive with a pre-purchased ticket (1\nticket per vehicle) and be directed to park in their own 20 X 25-foot space to\nenjoy the show either inside or outside their vehicle. Guests can bring their\nown refreshments, listen to the show on their car radios, and utilize portable\nwashrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We know how much the air show is enjoyed by the\ncommunity, so while the impact of COVID-19 prevents us from producing our\ntraditional-style event, we wanted to create a solution that minimizes risk and\ninteraction while still offering an exciting and family-friendly event,&#8221;\nsays Jim Graham, Chair, Airshow London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The air show itself will offer a rare and spectacular line-up\nof Canadian and American military aircraft. Along with aircraft representing\nthe Royal Canadian Air Force, confirmed to appear are an unprecedented four\nU.S. demonstration teams:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>the only Canadian appearance in 2020 by the\nUnited States Air Force Thunderbirds<\/li><li>U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team<\/li><li>U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team<\/li><li>U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster Demonstration\nTeam<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The past few months have been devasting to so many in\nour community, and now that we are allowed to gather in a socially responsible\nmanner, we are excited to offer this amazing opportunity for outdoor\nentertainment,&#8221; adds Graham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets go on sale today on www.airshowlondon.com.
