EAA&#8217;s special interest\ngroups will also be heavily involved, bringing highlights that include\nhomebuilts, warbirds, vintage, aerobatics, ultralights, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Jack-Pelton-at-OK-Lunch-2019.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15672\" width=\"160\" height=\"204\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Jack-Pelton-at-OK-Lunch-2019.jpg 400w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Jack-Pelton-at-OK-Lunch-2019-235x300.jpg 235w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 160px) 100vw, 160px\" \/><figcaption><em>Jack Pelton<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Nothing can replace the Oshkosh experience in-person\nduring AirVenture week, as that event personifies the common passion we have\nfor flight, in all its wonderful ways,&#8221; said Jack J. Pelton, EAA&#8217;s CEO and\nchairman of the board. &#8220;As unfortunate as it was that the cancellation of\nAirVenture 2020 took away that personal experience, countless people and groups\nhave stepped forward to ask what they could do to virtually create something\nfrom Oshkosh that brings us together as aviators and aviation enthusiasts.\nWe&#8217;re going to incorporate as many of them as possible during a full five-day\nevent.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the highlights already planned for Spirit of Aviation\nWeek are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Presentations, forums, and discussions with\nnotable leaders in aviation<\/li><li>Historical and archival content that highlights\naviation legends<\/li><li>Homebuilding workshops, discussions, and\neducational tips<\/li><li>Content centered on pilot proficiency and\nlearning to fly<\/li><li>A virtual exhibit space that showcases products,\nshow specials, videos, and services available from the hundreds of AirVenture\nexhibitors<\/li><li>Features from air show performers to military\nand space programs<\/li><li>Stories from those in EAA&#8217;s community through\nHangar Flying segments<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eaatogether.org\/\">EAAtogether.org<\/a> will be the exclusive home of the entire five-day event.
