Jennifer Martin considers her position as Senior Project\nManager with Parrish & Partners a \u201ctruly dream job.\u201d She brings to the\nposition 33 years of transportation experience with the North Carolina\nDepartment of Transportation (NCDOT) including 10 years as the Planning and\nEnvironmental Program Manager for the NCDOT Division of Aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI couldn\u2019t be more excited to begin my post-NCDOT career\nwith a company I have long admired for its outstanding work and dedicated staff,\u201d\nsaid Martin. Her time with Parrish & Partners will serve to leverage her\ncurrent skill set while allowing her to branch into new areas in which she has\ndeep interests. \u201cI consider myself extremely fortunate to be part of this\ngrowing company and I am especially looking forward to assisting with the\nexpansion of Parrish & Partner\u2019s services in the Raleigh area.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parrish & Partners was formed in 2013 with the corporate\noffice in Columbia, SC, and a branch office in Greensboro, NC. Senior Vice\nPresident Jeff Kirby, PE, is based in Greensboro and leads all of the company\u2019s\naviation efforts. \u201cAll of us at Parrish & Partners are extremely excited\nabout Jen joining our firm and assisting our aviation partners in their\ndevelopment needs,\u201d said Kirby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Martin joining the team, she brings roadway, aviation,\nand environmental experience to the Raleigh office which previously only\noffered bridge design. Since opening the Raleigh office in 2017, the firm has added\nNCDOT as a client. Martin will not only better support that client but will\nallow Parrish & Partners to better serve airports in the surrounding area\nas the company continues to grow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While serving with the Division of Aviation Martin developed\nexpertise in the FAA State Block Grant Program (SBGP), having worked closely\nwith airport sponsors to obtain funding for grant-eligible preliminary\nengineering, property acquisition, and construction for Capital Improvement\nPlans at North Carolina airports. She has a wide variety of skills in the\nmanagement of airport development projects pursued by the public airports of North\nCarolina with specialties in NEPA, airport stormwater runoff management, and\nwildlife hazards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Martin also brings a wealth of NCDOT knowledge from the\nHighways Division, having started her career in Roadway Design and Project\nDevelopment, before moving into the Feasibility Studies Section, working on a\nwide variety of State Transportation Improvement Program projects. She is a\nregistered Professional Engineer (NC) and obtained a Civil Engineering degree\nfrom North Carolina State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Parrish & Partners has five offices throughout\nthe Carolinas with ample resources to perform a multitude of services, including\naviation, surface, environmental, and CE&I. \n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
