{"id":15537,"date":"2020-05-19T14:25:15","date_gmt":"2020-05-19T14:25:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=15537"},"modified":"2020-05-19T14:25:17","modified_gmt":"2020-05-19T14:25:17","slug":"ncase-holds-virtual-annual-meeting-names-directors-and-officers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/aviation-education\/ncase-holds-virtual-annual-meeting-names-directors-and-officers\/%20","title":{"rendered":"NCASE Holds Virtual Annual Meeting, Names Directors and Officers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Members of the National Coalition for Aviation and Space\nEducation (NCASE) held their annual meeting on Thursday, May 14th \u2013 this time\nvirtually \u2013 conducting business, providing member and committee updates, and\nvoting for directors and officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_1625edit3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15538\" width=\"147\" height=\"226\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_1625edit3.jpg 336w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_1625edit3-196x300.jpg 196w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 147px) 100vw, 147px\" \/><figcaption><em>Rol Murrow<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe had planned to meet in person at FAA headquarters in\nWashington D.C. to conduct our annual meeting,\u201d said Rol Murrow, President of\nNCASE. \u201cNevertheless, in spite of COVID-19, we were able to conduct our\nbusiness and hold a very successful meeting.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eleven members participated in the video call which began\nwith a presentation by member Wayne Fagan, Chair of the Dee Howard Foundation\nin San Antonio Texas. Mr. Fagan discussed the future of teaching and learning\nin light of our current crisis dealing with the coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kim Stevens, Betty Wilson, and Rol Murrow were re-elected as\ndirectors for a three-year term through 2022. The slate of officers being\nre-elected for a one-year term are Rol Murrow, President, Kim Stevens, Vice\nPresident, Betty Wilson, Secretary, and Jenine Johnson, Treasurer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Coalition for Aviation and Space Education is a\nmembership organization that was formed in 1993 when the founding member groups\nsigned a formal charter and established a partnership with the Federal Aviation\nAdministration (FAA).
