{"id":15480,"date":"2020-05-12T13:47:25","date_gmt":"2020-05-12T13:47:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=15480"},"modified":"2020-05-12T13:47:27","modified_gmt":"2020-05-12T13:47:27","slug":"ibac-welcomes-medaire-and-dupont-as-new-industry-partner-and-operator-affiliate-members","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/international-news\/ibac-welcomes-medaire-and-dupont-as-new-industry-partner-and-operator-affiliate-members\/%20","title":{"rendered":"IBAC Welcomes MedAire and DuPont as New Industry Partner and Operator Affiliate Members"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) recently\nadded two new supporting members, MedAire and the DuPont flight operation, to\nits new Industry Partner and Operator Affiliate membership types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MedAire, an international SOS company specializing in remote\nmedical, security and operational support to clients in the air, on land and at\nsea, is now an IBAC Industry Partner. \u201cKnowing that IBAC is working to\nrepresent best interests of global business aviation is important to all of us\nin the industry and we at MedAire are proud to participate and support IBAC\u2019s\nefforts as an Industry Partner,\u201d stated Bill Dolny, president and CEO at\nMedAire. \u201cWe also look forward to expanding our collaboration with the globally\nrecognized safety standards, IS-BAO and IS-BAH programs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DuPont de Nemours Inc. flight operation is based in New\nCastle, Delaware, and supports international travel with the use of a business\njet. Clifford Ward, chief pilot for DuPont commented, \u201cOur Director of Aviation,\nElizabeth Dornak, has served on the IBAC Governing Board as an NBAA board\nrepresentative for many years, so we are very aware of IBAC\u2019s activities and\nits mission to represent business aviation. As an IS-BAO Stage 3 international\nflight department that manages operations around the world, we are happy to\nsupport IBAC\u2019s work that helps foster and grow our business aviation industry.\u201d\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kurt Edwards, IBAC Director General commented, \u201cWe are\nexcited to have these two business aviation leaders join IBAC and thank them\nfor their support. As IBAC\u2019s objective is to serve the diverse needs of\nbusiness aviation across the globe in international regulatory and policy\nmaking venues, we welcome industry participation to further build our\ncapabilities and visibility. During this turbulent time in particular, the\nleadership of MedAire and DuPont supports IBAC\u2019s efforts to maintain its\nservice to the industry and to have an important seat at the table for the\neventual global resumption of flying. In addition, I would also like to thank\nall of our 14 member associations and other Industry Partner, Bombardier, and\nOperator Affiliate, Mr. Ron Duncan at GCI, for their continued support.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Historically, IBAC membership has been limited to national\nand regional business associations, but now business aviation manufacturers,\nservice providers, and flight operations can get involved with IBAC as an\nIndustry Partner or Operator Affiliate member.
