{"id":15234,"date":"2020-04-17T19:04:43","date_gmt":"2020-04-17T19:04:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/?p=15234"},"modified":"2020-04-17T19:04:45","modified_gmt":"2020-04-17T19:04:45","slug":"battle-creek-executive-airport-at-kellogg-field-announces-new-website","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/state-news\/michigan\/battle-creek-executive-airport-at-kellogg-field-announces-new-website\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Battle Creek Executive Airport at Kellogg Field Announces New Website"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As the City of Battle Creek, Michigan\u2019s airport, Battle Creek Executive Airport at Kellogg Field, continues to celebrate 95 years of operation it\u2019s launching a new website \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flybtl.com\">www.flybtl.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of a recommendation in the airport\u2019s 2017\nstrategic business plan to develop a new brand the City worked with R.A.\nWeidemann &amp;Associates Inc., an aviation consultant, to develop a new and\nimproved airport brand.&nbsp; That work\nincluded the new name as well as new logos, a comprehensive marketing plan and\na new website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>United States airports, as well as airports around the\nworld use a universal unique three-letter airport code, or Location Identifier\ndefined by the International Air Transport Association. It&#8217;s easier to say, and\nwrite BTL than Battle Creek Executive Airport at Kellogg Field for the pilots,\ncontrollers, corporate dispatchers, weekend flyers, computers etc. So that\u2019s\nwhy the new website is names flybtl.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe new website represents another step forward in the\nCity\u2019s efforts to provide a compelling interactive experience featuring a new\nstreaming video and other enhancements.&nbsp;\nThe site will remain easy to navigate, with information for everyone\nfrom aviation novices to recreational general aviation pilots to high end\ncorporation jet pilots and crew members.\u201d said Aviation Director Larry Bowron.\n\u201cThe new site will also reinforce the important role the Battle Creek Executive\nAirport plays in the national general aviation sector as the City continues to\ndevelop the airport and create opportunities for new aviation\/aerospace\ncompanies to locate in our city.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned as the airport continues thetransition to\nBattle Creek Executive Airport at Kellogg Field, complete with monument and\nwayfinding signs, an improved online presence, and more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As the City of Battle Creek, Michigan\u2019s airport, Battle Creek Executive Airport at Kellogg Field, continues to celebrate 95 years of operation it\u2019s launching a new website \u2013 www.flybtl.com As part of a recommendation in the airport\u2019s 2017 strategic business plan to develop a new brand the City worked with R.A.
