With these additions, EAA\nwebinars will take place up to three nights a week for the immediate future.\nThe EAA webinar series has seen major growth over the past six weeks and allows\nexpansion of the program that reached a record 29,000 people in the 12 months\nending February 29, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe capacity crowds we\u2019ve welcomed over the past 10 days for\nour webinars show a real desire for aviators to stay connected with the flying\ncommunity, even if they can\u2019t personally connect at their local airport or\nhangars,\u201d said Charlie Becker, EAA\u2019s director of chapters, communities, and\nhomebuilt community manager. \u201cThis added schedule of programs focusing on EAA\u2019s\nhomebuilding heritage is only possible because of the leaders and companies\nwithin that community eagerly stepping up to provide in-depth information to\nour members and other aircraft builders.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Thursday night webinars, which start at 7 p.m. Central\ntime, began on April 9 with Sebastien Heintz from Zenith Aircraft. Upcoming\nThursday webinars, which are eligible for FAA WINGS and AMT credits through the\nFAA Safety Program, include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 16: Choosing Wheels &amp; Brakes; George Happ, MATCO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 23: Choosing and Using Tools for Your RV Build; Greg Hughes, Van\u2019s Aircraft, and Mike Lauritsen, Cleaveland Aircraft Tools<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 30: What\u2019s Involved in Kit Building; Charlie Becker, EAA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May 7: Critical RV Flying Skills; Rian Johnson and Mike Saeger, Van\u2019s Aircraft<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The free webinar series, supported by Aircraft Spruce &amp;\nSpecialty, began in 2010 with a limited schedule of offerings. It now features\nmore than 550 archived webinars on a wide variety of aviation topics. The\ncomplete schedule of EAA\u2019s upcoming webinars, which is regularly updated, is\navailable at EAA.org\/webinars.
