The minist\u00c3\u00a8re des Transports has informed the Canadian population,\nas well as air carriers and operators, that access to airport installations is\nnow controlled. This measure applies to flights to all airports (whether they\nare under provincial, federal or municipal jurisdiction, or private businesses)\nlocated in the eight regions where non-essential travel is restricted by the\ngouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec. The restrictions aim to protect these regions from\nCOVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Non-essential travel to and from the following eight regions\nis restricted: Bas-Saint-Laurent, Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue, C\u00f4te-Nord,\nNord-du-Qu\u00e9bec, Saguenay\u2013Lac-Saint-Jean, Gasp\u00e9sie\u2013\u00c3\u008eles-de-la-Madeleine, Nunavik\nand Terres-Cries-de-la Baie-James.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Passengers should take note of the following instructions\nbefore going to any airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. The passenger must\nnot exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. The airline ticket\nmust be booked beforehand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Travel must be\nessential (for work in a service or business considered essential, for\nhumanitarian or health reasons, etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Passengers should contact their air carrier for any other\nquestions. Private aircraft operators are expected to ensure that passengers\ncomply with instructions 1 to 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
