{"id":15118,"date":"2020-03-24T18:24:56","date_gmt":"2020-03-24T18:24:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/?p=15118"},"modified":"2020-03-24T18:24:57","modified_gmt":"2020-03-24T18:24:57","slug":"astro-adds-med-evac-pod-to-the-fleet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/front-page-slider\/astro-adds-med-evac-pod-to-the-fleet\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Astro Adds Med-Evac Pod to the Fleet"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Astro Aerospace has added another new model to its ALTA\nplatform line-up in the form of a Med-Evac\/Ambulance vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ALTA LaFRa (Low-altitude Fast Response aircraft) is the\nnewest pod concept to join Astro\u2019s ALTA fleet of Pods and will target the\nsearch and rescue, and ambulance\/medical markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-1edit.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15121\" width=\"290\" height=\"162\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-1edit.jpg 600w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-1edit-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 290px) 100vw, 290px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The LaFRa design modification was an obvious addition in the\nprogression of Astro\u2019s Pod development program and fits perfectly with the\nflexible and nimble maneuvering ALTA platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the current COVID-19 situation has temporarily\nhalted development of the current build, Astro continues to innovate and create\nnew pods for multiple industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLike most, it\u2019s important for us to recognize and follow\nthe protocols regarding COVID-19 and we have suspended production to ensure our\nteam, suppliers and their families are safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will be resurrecting the build of the ALTA program\nimmediately following the advice of the governing bodies when it is safe to\nreturn\u201d, says CEO Bruce Bent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Astro Aerospace has added another new model to its ALTA platform line-up in the form of a Med-Evac\/Ambulance vehicle.
