Jim\nInhofe (R-OK) and Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), would establish the National Center\nfor the Advancement of Aviation (NCAA) where stakeholders could work together\nto coordinate, promote and support the development of aviation and aerospace\nwithin the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn the more than 100 years since Wilbur and Orville Wright\nconducted their historic flights at Kitty Hawk, our nation has seen aviation in\nthe United States grow, powered by the individual passions of pilots, aviators\nand countless others,\u201d Inhofe said in a statement. \u201cThe NCAA will advance a\ncollaborative process to promote aviation in the United States and assist in\nthe development of the next generation of aviation and aerospace workers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inhofe.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/20200227%20-%20NCAA%20-%20Introduced.pdf\">View the bill.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs a pilot, I know that investing in aviation-focused\neducation and workforce development programs helps attract and retain the best\ntalent and keeps our nation at the forefront of global aviation innovation,\u201d\nDuckworth said in a statement, adding the measure supports, \u201cthe development of\nnext-generation aviators and foster collaboration in the aviation and aerospace\nindustries to help meet the demands and challenges of tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NBAA joined with more than 130 aviation trade and advocacy groups, commercial airlines, fractional and charter operators, pilots unions, state and airport representatives and other aviation stakeholders, representing hundreds of thousands of individuals, companies, schools and other entities involved in all segments of aviation and aerospace, in a letter expressing their support for the measure. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inhofe.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/20200227%20-%20National%20Center%20for%20Aviation%20-%20Industry%20Letter%20-%20FINAL%20FINAL.pdf\">Read the letter to lawmakers.<\/a> (PDF)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSens.
