GAMA also announced the\naddition of Marc Ehudin as Director of Government Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOver the last several years, Kyle and Amanda have proven to\nbe exceptional leaders. Their expertise in government and regulatory affairs as\nwell as manufacturing and maintenance technical policy have played a critical\nrole in supporting our membership and shaping GAMA\u2019s global policy agenda. Additionally, he works closely with GAMA\u2019s new European Leaders\nSteering Committee to advocate for the interests of general aviation in Europe\nfor regulatory changes, policy initiatives and communications strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/JoynerAmanda-50891-3393edit.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14962\" width=\"168\" height=\"236\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/JoynerAmanda-50891-3393edit.jpg 500w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/JoynerAmanda-50891-3393edit-214x300.jpg 214w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 168px) 100vw, 168px\" \/><figcaption><em>Amanda Joyner<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As Managing Director of Government Affairs, Joyner is\ninstrumental in the development of GAMA\u2019s federal policy agenda and promotes\nthe interests of GAMA\u2019s membership before the U.S. Congress, executive branch\nand federal agencies. She also facilitates coordination, communication and\noutreach with GAMA\u2019s Board of Directors and member company representatives to\npolicymakers and broader stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ehudin joins GAMA with many years of experience in the\nprivate sector and on Capitol Hill. He worked for over 20 years for Textron and\nAAI Corporation, where he handled many issues including general aviation, tax\npolicy and manufacturing. He also spent time working in the U.S. House of\nRepresentatives for members from Texas and Maryland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMarc brings a wealth of experience to GAMA. His vast\nknowledge of Congress, the appropriations process, and general aviation and\nmanufacturing issues will help elevate our policy and government affairs\nefforts. He is a welcome addition to the GAMA team,\u201d Bunce said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Martin joined GAMA in 2016 as Director of European\nRegulatory Affairs. He is a native of Northern Ireland and received his\nmaster\u2019s degree with honors in aeronautical engineering from the University of\nBristol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joyner joined GAMA in 2012 as Director of Government\nAffairs. She is a native of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina, and received her\nbachelor\u2019s degree in communications and business from Appalachian State\nUniversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ehudin is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, and received his\nbachelor\u2019s degree in political science from Union College.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) has announced the promotions of Kyle Martin to Vice President of European Affairs and Amanda Joyner to Managing Director of Government Affairs.
