The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) has announced\nthe addition of Andre Castro to serve as the association\u2019s Director of\nCommunications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Andre brings over a decade of experience in strategic\ncommunications, media relations and federal policy to GAMA. Since 2012, he has\nworked in the U.S. House of Representatives as the Communications Director for\nCongressman Bill Flores of Texas. While there, he managed the Congressman\u2019s\nnational and local media engagement, social media activity and the\ncongressional office\u2019s internal and external communications. Prior to\nCongressman Flores, Andre worked for Congressman Michael McCaul of Texas and\nmanaged multiple political campaigns in Texas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAndre\u2019s background in communications, politics and Capitol\nHill will be a tremendous asset to the association,\u201d said GAMA President and\nCEO Pete Bunce. \u201cHis experience and knowledge in media and strategic\ncommunications are well suited to take GAMA to new heights as we celebrate our\n50th anniversary.
