McDonald Distinguished\nStatesman of Aviation Award from the National Aeronautic Association (NAA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recognized for his \u201c45 years of effective leadership and\nunrivaled record of success at Dassault Falcon Jet, overseeing numerous new\nproducts and expansion into emerging markets,\u201d Rosanvallon was one of six\naviation leaders honored at an awards ceremony on Nov. 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFor decades, the business aviation community has benefited\ngreatly from John Rosanvallon\u2019s statesmanship,\u201d noted Bolen, who attended the\nevent. \u201cIt is impossible to imagine a more fitting recipient of National\nAeronautic Association\u2019s Wesley L. McDonald Distinguished Statesman of Aviation\nAward.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Included among Rosanvallon\u2019s many roles in industry\nleadership are his service as a member of NBAA\u2019s Advisory Council, as well as\non the board of directors for the General Aviation Manufacturers Association,\nthe Corporate Angel Network and the French-American Chamber of Commerce. He\nalso serves on the Board of Trustees for the Wings Club of New York and Embry\nRiddle Aeronautical University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January 2019, he received the \u201cLifetime Aviation Industry\nLeader Award\u201d at the living legends of Aviation Awards in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rosanvallon joined Dassault Aviation in 1975, and four years\nlater transitioned to DFJ, based in Teterboro, NJ, as assistant to the\npresident. After an 11-year tenure in France, serving in several executive\ncapacities for the company, he returned to Teterboro as senior vice president,\nsales and marketing with responsibility for consolidating worldwide Falcon\ncommercial activities.
