For the company\u2019s most important engagements that\nrequire travel, they seek to mitigate related impacts through the purchase of\nhigh quality, verified carbon offsets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For 2019, C&S has purchased credits to cover 1,031\nmetric tons of carbon dioxide\u2014the equivalent of nearly 5.8 million passenger\nmiles flown, or the carbon dioxide produced by the electricity required to\npower more than 180 homes for a year. The company is specifically investing in\nimpactful projects across the United States located in the regions of The Good\nTraveler\u2019s airport partners, therefore supporting projects where there frequently\nfly. These projects include renewable wind energy generation, forest management\nand restoration, grasslands conservation, and truck stop electrification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
