The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) has announced its new Governing Board executive officers, selected at its 70th meeting last week following the Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Ali Alnaqbi, Founder and Chairman of the Middle East and\nNorth Africa Business Aviation Association will become Chairman of the IBAC\nGoverning Board from 1 January 2020. \nMr. Alnaqbi is currently the Vice\nChairman of the Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Juergen Wiese, Chairman of the European Business\nAviation Association, will become Vice Chairman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Sudhir Nayak of the Business Aircraft Operators\nAssociation of India will continue to serve as the Treasurer of the IBAC\nGoverning Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI appreciate the commitment to IBAC and the global business\naviation community that each of these gentlemen has demonstrated in their\nparticipation in IBAC and their respective associations,\u201d said Kurt Edwards,\nDirector General of IBAC. \u201cIt will be a\npleasure to work with them and the Board over the next three years as we expand\nIBAC to meet the needs of a growing, vibrant industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Established in 1981, IBAC serves an international voice for\nthe business aviation community. IBAC governance is exercised through the\nGoverning Board with representatives from each of the 14 member\nassociations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
