This brings the company\u2019s successful business model\n\u2013 which covers both industry and services \u2013 to one of the world\u2019s largest\naerospace markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a major supplier of logistics services and aerostructures\nto leading aerospace industry companies, Daher now joins the world\u2019s aircraft\nmanufacturers that have final assembly lines on multiple continents. Daher\nbuilds the family of TBM very fast turboprop aircraft at its Tarbes, France\nfacility, while the Quest Aircraft Company assembles the Kodiak utility\nairplane at Sandpoint in the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur acquisition of the Quest Aircraft Company is perfectly\naligned with Daher\u2019s strategy to intensify its business footprint in America,\u201d\nsaid Daher CEO Didier Kayat. \u201cIn addition to adding the Kodiak to our aircraft\nportfolio, we have now gained a major competitive advantage for all of Daher\u2019s\naerospace business lines in North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dBy expanding its product line to include both the Kodiak\nand TBM, Daher becomes the seventh-ranked general aviation airplane\nmanufacturer worldwide and strengthens its position as a leader of high-end\nsingle-engine turboprop aircraft. The TBM is the world\u2019s fastest single-engine\nturboprop-powered airplane, with more than 950 delivered to owners and\noperators around the globe.
