Honda Aircraft Company announced the first installation of a\nmedevac configuration on the HondaJet Elite at the 2019 NBAA Business Aviation\nConvention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE). The medevac configuration was installed\non a HondaJet Elite owned by Wing Spirit, an air ambulance and charter company\nbased in Hawaii. A mockup of the HondaJet Elite medevac configuration will be\ndisplayed at Honda Aircraft Company’s booth at NBAA-BACE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We are pleased to announce the installation of the\nfirst medevac configuration on the HondaJet. We are confident the aircraft’s\nsize, efficiency, speed and cabin comfort are well-suited to these special\nmissions in the Hawaiian Islands,” said Honda Aircraft Company president\nand CEO Michimasa Fujino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Honda Aircraft Company continues to strengthen its service\nand support capabilities as it expands its service network around the world.\nThe company announced the addition of a Northeastern United States service\ncenter in Wilmington, Delaware. flyADVANCED is an FAA 145 Repair station with\nairframe, power plant and radio ratings, Garmin Dealer and Service Center and\nmobile repair capability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, due to increased demand for the HondaJet,\nHonda Aircraft has begun construction on a second FlightSafety International\nHondaJet Elite simulator. The company revealed today that the second simulator\nwill be located in Farnborough, Hampshire in the United Kingdom to support\nHondaJet customers throughout Europe. It is expected to begin operation in\nApril 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When commenting on the addition of a second flight simulator\nand a new service location, Fujino said, “As our fleet continues to\nincrease in size, it is necessary for the HondaJet service, support and training\nnetwork to expand. We are proud of the relationships we have with flyADVANCED,\nFlightSafety International and our support network around the globe.
