Vietnam Airlines (VN) is cementing its status as the\ncountry\u2019s premier national carrier by becoming the first Vietnamese airline to\noffer inflight connectivity (IFC) \u2013 through a partnership with SITAONAIR and\nInmarsat satellite telecommunications operator VISHIPEL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration will see the delivery of pioneering\ninflight internet services across its fleet, offering digitally-demanding\npassengers the onboard connectivity they want, and enabling them to stay\nconnected with work and family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partnering with long-standing Vietnamese satellite provider,\nVISHIPEL, has been integral to delivering this first-of-its-kind solution for\nthe region. VISHIPEL has played an important role in Vietnam\u2019s national\ndevelopment strategy for information and communication, and this regional\nexpertise, together with SITAONAIR\u2019s industry experience, has ensured that\nservices are tailored for the Vietnamese market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inflight Wi-Fi is now available aboard four of Vietnam\nAirlines\u2019 A350 aircraft, making VN the first airline in the country to offer\nonboard Wi-Fi to meet high regional demand, enhancing the passenger experience\nand moving closer towards international 5-star quality standards, while\ndigitally transforming its services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SITAONAIR\u2019s best-in-class Internet ONAIR IFC portal will\nprovide seamless Wi-Fi access to VN\u2019s passengers, and enable exceptional levels\nof personalization and interactivity through customization, to reflect the airline\u2019s\nown branding requirements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
