The Longitude received FAA\ntype certification on September 21, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe newly certified Citation Longitude brings unrivaled\ntechnology to the business travel market, for both the passenger and the pilot,\noffering our customers the most efficient and productive super-midsize jet now\nin operation,\u201d said Ron Draper, president and CEO. \u201cWe are thrilled to now\ntransition this program into service.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Longitude features the longest maintenance intervals in\nits class \u2013 800 hours or 18 months \u2013 and is the most cost-effective aircraft in\nits category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Longitude was designed around maximizing reliability\nand operational availability for our customers,\u201d said Kriya Shortt, senior vice\npresident, Global Customer Support. \u201cThe Longitude\u2019s industry-leading on-board\ndiagnostics system is backed by Textron Aviation\u2019s team of 3,000 customer\nservice employees. Our expert technicians trained alongside the development of\nthe program and are ready to support our customers wherever they are in the\nworld.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clean-sheet design of the Longitude integrates the\nlatest technology throughout the aircraft, including the next evolution of the\nGarmin G5000 flight deck.
