The American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) announced\nthat it has exceeded 7,000 members \u2013 a record high in the association\u2019s 91-year\nhistory. These more than 7,000 dues-paying members represent a wide range of\naviation professionals at approximately 875 airports and more than 700\ncompanies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAAAE is proud to deliver unparalleled service, innovation\nand results for our members,\u201d said AAAE President and CEO Todd Hauptli. \u201cThis\nmilestone is a testament to the value we provide to hard-working aviation\nprofessionals around the country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe AAAE team has worked diligently to offer creative and\ninnovative new member benefits over the past five years that have undoubtedly\ncontributed to strong retention and recruitment,\u201d said Jacky Sher Raker,\nExecutive Vice President, Meetings, Membership, Marketing, Administration and\nAAAE Foundation. \u201cOur members\u2019 professional and personal growth is the core of\nour mission.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AAAE has averaged four new members every day so far in 2019\n\u2013 a 19 percent increase in new members from a year ago and a 48 percent\nincrease over two years before. The number of AAAE members has grown by 24\npercent over the past five years. AAAE membership dues remain well below the\nindustry average for professional associations, intended to make it affordable\nfor those in the aviation industry to join AAAE at any stage of their career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Members of AAAE enjoy a broad array of benefits, including\nnumerous professional development opportunities, access to highly-respected\ntraining and accreditation programs, complimentary subscriptions to Airport\nMagazine and the Airport Report Today newsletter, access to a comprehensive\naviation information library, and discounts on AAAE meetings and other\nproducts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AAAE continues to devote significant resources to improving\nand expanding the portfolio of member benefits. Over the last year alone, the\nassociation implemented a number of new and expanded benefits for members, such\nas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Launched the AAAE Hub, a robust online community allowing\n24\/7 access to essential information and a network of aviation colleagues;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Created the Mentor Match program, which helps foster\nmentoring relationships and professional development opportunities across\nAAAE\u2019s membership; and<\/p>\n\n\n\n
