Dassault Aviation has completed its acquisition of TAG\nAviation\u2019s Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organization, effective\nSeptember 2, intended to expand the company\u2019s worldwide service center network.\nThe new organization has been named TAG Maintenance Services (TMS) and is\noperated as a wholly owned Dassault Aviation affiliate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dassault has acquired all TAG maintenance operations,\nincluding its service centers in Geneva, Farnborough, Le Bourget, Lisbon and\nits satellite facilities in Luton and Moscow. The company will continue\nservicing all aircraft types it supported previously, both Falcon and\notherwise, and customers will have access to the same outstanding teams and\nprofessionals as before. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TAG purchase is part of an ongoing effort by Dassault\nAviation to broaden its global service footprint. Since the beginning of the\nyear, Dassault Aviation has also announced the acquisition of the 11 MRO\nfacilities operated by ExecuJet, along with RUAG business aviation operations\nin Geneva and Lugano, Switzerland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RUAG MRO operations will be integrated into TAG\nMaintenance Services and, like TMS, will continue to cover both Falcon aircraft\nand other business jet models. Both have a large presence in Geneva, one of the\nmajor hubs for business aviation in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are committed to placing our industry-leading Falcon\nfactory service capabilities as close as possible to customers around the\nworld, while offering the same level of top-notch service for other prominent\nOEM brands,\u201d noted Jean Kayanakis, Dassault Aviation\u2019s Senior Vice President,\nWorldwide Customer Service & Service Center Network. \u201cOur strategy is aimed\nat acquiring MRO operations that share our exceedingly high standards for\ncustomer service and that operate at the top end of the market,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All together, the recent MRO acquisitions have permitted\nDassault Aviation to add 19 new facilities and nearly 1,000 service\nprofessionals to its global service network. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
