<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nThe Task Force consists of a set of eight voting members\nfrom local city government officials and five non-voting participants from the\nU.S. Congress. Staff from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Burbank\nGlendale Pasadena Airport Authority (BGPAA), and Los Angeles World Airports\n(LAWA) attended the Task Force meeting as technical advisors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Elected Task Force Officers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Mayor Emily Gabel-Luddy of Burbank, was elected as the Task\nForce Chair<\/p>\n\n\n\n Councilman Paul Krekorian (CD2) was elected as the Task\nForce Vice Chair<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bylaws Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Task Force meetings will be conducted in accordance with the\nBrown Act and Robert’s Rules of Order, and moderated by a facilitator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A majority of the voting members of the Task Force (five)\nconstitutes a quorum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Any action taken by the Task Force shall require the\naffirmative vote of the majority of voting members present at the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe are committed to making sure all voices are being\nheard,\u201d said Patrick Lammerding, Deputy Executive Director of Planning &\nDevelopment at Hollywood Burbank Airport. \u201cThe Task Force is a collaborative\nprocess that encourages community members to voice their opinions, share ideas,\nand promote solutions for changes to the departure path from both airports.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe Task Force is a significant initiative that welcomes\ncommunity feedback to discover solutions in an inclusive and open format,\u201d said\nFlora Margheritis, the VNY Airport Manager at LAWA. \u201cI personally want to thank\nthe Task Force and community members for their commitment to working together\nto find a consensus recommendation that fits the needs of our communities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
