The airline will also introduce three new routes\nto Alaska, including service to Fairbanks (FAI), a new destination for\ncustomers looking to indulge in long summer days next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNational parks are a huge attraction for many families,\u201d\nsaid Vasu Raja, Vice President of Network and Schedule Planning. \u201cAs soon as\nschool\u2019s out next year, our customers will have more than 145 weekly round-trip\nflights to Montana to choose from. This summer, we launched three new flights\nto Glacier National Park in Kalispell, and, next summer, we\u2019re expanding with\nmore service to discover the natural wonders.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the success of this year\u2019s new service to Glacier\nNational Park Airport in Kalispell (FCA), American is also switching to a\nlarger aircraft on the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Chicago (ORD) flights \u2014 from\nan Embraer E175 with 76 seats to a Boeing 737-800 with 160 seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers eager to venture farther for outdoor adventures\ncan look forward to new flights to Alaska. American is providing two new ways\nto get to Alaska\u2019s second-largest city, Fairbanks, through DFW on an Airbus\nA321 and ORD on a 737-800. The new routes will serve local and connecting customers\nwho are looking to explore Denali National Park, check out caribou or learn\nabout the unique glaciers.
