The Camarillo Wings Association hosted this year’s\n“Wings Over Camarillo” Air Show August 17, 18, with support from\nvolunteers from the Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Air Force,\nEAA Chapter 723 and the Ventura County 99s, and presented by California Aeronautical\nUniversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s airshow includes aerobatic performances from\nclassic warbirds from the CAF, military aircraft, experimental aircraft,\nantique cars and motorcycles, War Veteran’s Tent, WWII re-enactment camp,\nhelicopter and airplane rides, VIP Chalet tent, as well as a variety of food\nand street vendors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wings Over Camarillo Airshow has historically been about\nwarbirds, aviation history, veterans, cool aircraft, cool cars and an awesome\nair show \u2013 a fun day for SoCal residents, aviation lovers and families. The\nSTEM Pavilion, sponsored by California Lutheran University, highlights what is\nnew in aviation and aerospace, and other Science, Technology, Engineering and\nMath fields. It a place to see Drones and UAVs fly, see robotics in action,\nbuild a Lego airport, learn how airplanes fly and fold and test fly your own\npaper airplane. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kids of all ages were also invited to take flight with\nkidSTREAM Children\u2019s Museum! KidSTREAM is Ventura County\u2019s emerging children\u2019s\nmuseum. Children and their grown-ups were invited to create all sorts of flying\nobjects to test fly in kidSTREAM\u2019s \u201cflight lab\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wings Over Camarillo is presented by Camarillo Wings Association (CWA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. CWA promotes aviation and its heritage, while inspiring youth with aviation related programs, education and leadership opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
