Shulz. <\/em> <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Colorado Division of Aeronautics has been distinguished\nwith the Airport Consultants Council (ACC) Agency Best Practices Award for innovative\nprograms, positive culture, and commitment to supporting Colorado\u2019s airports in\nways that benefit the entire aviation industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Division Director David Ulane accepted the award at an\nAugust 15th luncheon held in conjunction with the ACC Airports Technical\nWorkshop held in Washington D.C. \u201cThis recognition reflects highly on our\nDivision and the Colorado Aeronautical Board, and I couldn\u2019t be more proud of\nthis passionate team of dedicated professionals,\u201d said Ulane. \u201cIt\u2019s truly a\nprivilege to work with this team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ACC Agency Best Practices Award recognizes valuable\nindustry partners within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA),\nTransportation Security Administration (TSA), and other suitable agencies for\nthe work they do each day as they interact with the airport consultant\ncommunity. Judging criteria applicable to receive the award include proven\nexamples of initiating innovative projects, exemplifying teamwork within a\ncooperative and collaborative environment, striving to promote streamlining in\nan effort to benefit all involved stakeholders.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2005, the award has been presented to 22 federal\nofficials and agencies. The 2019 ACC Agency Best Practices Award marks the\nfirst time that a state aviation agency has received this distinction.
