The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) wants your help to administer a recreational flyer knowledge and safety test to the widest audience possible! They have posted a <a href=\"https:\/\/faaco.faa.gov\/index.cfm\/announcement\/view\/34272\">request for information (RFI)<\/a> where you can submit your suggestions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the FAA develops the training and test content, they\u2019re\nseeking your help to ensure it is administered in an effective way. They are looking\nfor input from both private and public sectors on how to make the test easily\naccessible to drone users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FAA says it loves that the drone community is growing so\nquickly, and because drones can be flown straight out-of-the box, they need to\nmake sure that drone pilots only take flight once they know the FAA\u2019s aviation\nrules and safety practices. Congress requires that recreational flyers pass a\ntest and the FAA says it now has an opportunity to educate recreational flyers\non drone safety and to bring new flyers into an extraordinary aviation safety\nculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FAA says this knowledge test is important to educate\nrecreational flyers about the rules of the sky as they continue to safely\nintegrate drones into the nation\u2019s airspace.
