The Experimental Aircraft Association and the developers of\nSocialFlight.com and the SocialFlight mobile apps have joined forces to offer\nEAA members customized aviation newsletters delivered weekly to their email\ninbox that include upcoming local aviation events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOur annual member survey confirmed what our website traffic\ndata showed\u2014finding events and places to fly is a significant interest of EAA\nmembers,\u201d said Cory Puuri, EAA Membership Development Manager. \u201cWhile EAA\u2019s\ncalendar of events is a powerful tool for finding events, members asked us to\ndeliver localized event information to their email inbox so they can plan where\nto fly. Since SocialFlight has become known for its cross-platform aviation\nevent information distribution, they were a logical partner to help us launch\nsuch a service.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EAA members can sign-up for the EAA Aviation Event\nNewsletter at EAA.org\/EventNews. The process is simple: sign in to the EAA\nwebsite, click a button to sign-up for the newsletter, and a customized\nregistration page opens on SocialFlight, pre-filled with your basic information\nfrom EAA so that the newsletters can be customized to your location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Later this year, EAA and SocialFlight will roll-out\nadditional program features to help EAA members find event information and\nencourage them to fly including: integration of aviation calendars, exclusive\ngiveaways for EAA members who fly to events and check-in on the SocialFlight\nmobile app, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
