The division oversees the areas\nof air service development, communications &amp; marketing, finance, human\nresources, information technology and properties for Southwest Florida\nInternational Airport and Page Field, in Fort Myers, Fla. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/McGonagle-Brian-2019-Terminaledit-780x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13141\" width=\"225\" height=\"295\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/McGonagle-Brian-2019-Terminaledit-780x1024.jpg 780w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/McGonagle-Brian-2019-Terminaledit-228x300.jpg 228w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/McGonagle-Brian-2019-Terminaledit.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><figcaption><em>Brian McGonagle<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>McGonagle was most recently the director of finance for the\nLee County Port Authority, where he was responsible for all financial and\naccounting functions including purchasing, the annual budget and Capital\nImprovement Program. McGonagle joined LCPA in 1997 as a budget analyst, was\npromoted to manager of budget &amp; accounting and then named director of\nfinance in 2004. Prior to joining LCPA, McGonagle worked for more than 12 years\nin accounting and finance at the Bank of Boston. He started his career as a\ncost accountant for the United Airlines\u2019 flight kitchen in Boston, Mass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>McGonagle holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting from the\nUniversity of Massachusetts-Boston. He is a member of the Airports Council\nInternational \u2013 North America Finance Steering Committee, as well as a member\nof the Florida Government Finance Officers Association and American Association\nof Airport Executives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Southwest Florida International Airport served nearly 9.4\nmillion passengers in 2018 and is one of the top 50 U.S. airports for passenger\ntraffic.
