Additionally, this\nexpansion will add more storage for service parts for the growing fleet of\nHondaJets around the globe. The facility is expected to be completed in July\n2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;As the HondaJet&#8217;s popularity and presence continues to\nincrease around the world, it is necessary for our facility to meet our\nproduction and service needs while operating at the highest level of\nefficiency,&#8221; said Michimasa Fujino, president and CEO of Honda Aircraft\nCompany. &#8220;We are proud that Honda Aircraft Company is expanding its\nfootprint in North Carolina and in the aviation industry.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Federal, state and local officials offered perspectives on\nwhat the company&#8217;s expansion at its Greensboro facilities will mean for the\nregion and the aviation industry.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Honda Aircraft Company is the latest example of a\nmanufacturer enjoying the benefits of doing business in North Carolina and\nexpanding their footprint here,&#8221; Governor Roy Cooper (D-NC) said.\n&#8220;Their investment in the Triad is a testament to our state&#8217;s commitment to\neconomic development and the aerospace industry.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Executive Director of the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority\nKevin Baker stated, &#8220;We are thrilled that Honda Aircraft Company will\nexpand its facility here at the airport.
