The grader, valued at $353,440 will assist\nwith the essential clearing of ice and snow from runways, taxiways and the\napron. The rehabilitation project, valued at $365,765, includes replacing\nairside lighting with LED lights for clearer visibility.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well maintained runways, taxiways and aprons that are clear\nof ice and snow are key to ensuring safe usage by aircraft, passengers, and\ncrews, and help protect costly airport safety assets, such as snow clearing\nequipment and aircraft rescue and firefighting vehicles, during airport\noperations. This equipment will assist with the essential clearing of ice and\nsnow from runways, taxiways and the apron.&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Our Government recognizes that local airports are\nmajor contributors to the economic growth and social well-being of smaller\ncommunities.
