The Fly Washington Passport Program, set to begin on April 1<sup>st<\/sup>, is a partnership between <a href=\"https:\/\/auburnmunicipalairport.com\/\">Auburn Municipal Airport<\/a>, City of Auburn, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsdot.wa.gov\/aviation\/\">WSDOT Aviation<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/wpaflys.org\/\">Washington Pilots Association<\/a> (WPA), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wama.us\/\">Washington Airport Management Association<\/a> (WAMA) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aopa.org\/\">Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond motivating pilots to fly, this program supports\ngeneral aviation airports, area businesses, tourism, and provides flight\nplanning, safety, and educational opportunities.&nbsp; The program relies on the voluntary\nparticipation of Washington\u2019s public-use airports, pilots, aviation\nenthusiasts, and sponsors.&nbsp; The ultimate\nobjective for this program is to increase aviation economic activity and\nenhance general aviation visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants, using an official Fly Washington Passport Program booklet, collect \u201cpassport stamps\u201d at enrolled public-use airports.\u00c2\u00a0 Any licensed pilot from any state, and their passengers, may participate.\u00c2\u00a0 Participants will earn levels of recognition and prizes as they explore the airports of Washington State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information visit: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flywashington.org\/\">WDOT Aviation<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pilots are being encouraged to visit public-use airports in the state of Washington, earn rewards, and build memories.
