We\u2019re proud to represent them and\nlook forward to contributing to their success.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe expanding breadth of the GAMA manufacturing membership\nrequires we continue focusing on streamlining the certification and validation\nprocess globally,\u201d said GAMA Chairman and Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. President\nMark Burns. \u201cIt also underscores the rapid pace of technological innovation\nhappening in our industry, and our responsibility to recapitalize our workforce\nthrough education and training while continuously promoting the dynamic nature\nof careers available in aviation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Member<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lee Aerospace<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lee Aerospace was founded in 1989 by owner and company\npresident, Jim Lee. Starting as a production facility for Boeing 737\/757 cabin\nwindows, Lee Aerospace has grown through the years to include advanced\naerospace transparency design, an FAA 145 Certified repair facility offering\nrepair and installation, major and complex aerostructure assemblies and\ncomposite manufacturing programs for some of the largest aircraft manufacturers\nin the world. The company is headquartered in Wichita, Kansas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schweizer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schweizer is a reorganized company that manufactures the\npiston powered two-seat Schweizer 269 rotorcraft. Schweizer is based in Fort\nWorth, Texas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Associate Member Full<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aerion Corporation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aerion is pioneering a new generation of efficient,\neconomical, and environmentally responsible supersonic aircraft. The Mach 1.4\nAS2 business jet is scheduled to begin flight testing in 2023. The company\nentered into a partnership with Boeing in February 2019 to develop the AS2 and\nadvance the supersonic market. In October 2018, Aerion and GE Aviation unveiled\nthe GE AffinityTM engine, the first supersonic engine in more than 50 years.\nAerion is headquartered in Reno, Nevada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lilium GmbH<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lilium GmbH is an aviation startup developing a\nrevolutionary on-demand air mobility service. To enable the vision of air\nmobility for everyone, the company is designing, manufacturing and will soon\noperate the Lilium Jet, the first all-electric vertical take-off and landing\njet (eVTOL) of its kind. The company is located in Munich, Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Associate Member<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daedalean<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daedalean is a startup with the mission to build a\ncertified airworthy autopilot that can also pass the exams for human pilots.\nRelying on expertise in robotics, computer vision and machine learning, as well\nas a thorough foundation in classical systems engineering, avionics and\npiloting, the company is working on guidance, navigation and control systems.\nThe company is located in Zurich, Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unither Bioelectronics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unither Bioelectronics, a subsidiary of Lung\nBiotechnology PBC, is focused on the development of eVTOL aircraft specifically\nfor the purpose of delivering organs to hospitals. The company is involved in\nvarious research and development programs to push the boundaries of electric\nflight and the certification aspect of eVTOL technologies. The Unither family\nof companies aims at an exponential increase in organ transplantation, via\nfuture U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved lung manufacturing\ntechniques.
