Dedicated to\neveryone\u2019s favorite flying elephant known for inspiring many to soar to new\nheights, Spirit and Disney revealed the new plane with a time-lapse video of\nthe decal wrapping process which took place at Spirit\u2019s state-of-the-art\nDetroit maintenance hangar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plane will join Spirit\u2019s growing Fit Fleet of 132\naircraft, one of the youngest and most fuel-efficient in the country. The plane\ntakes off today from Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) to Orlando International\nAirport (MCO). Guests traveling between Detroit, Orlando, San Juan, Fort\nLauderdale, and Baltimore\/Washington will have the chance to fly with \u201cDumbo\u201d\non the first three days of service. The aircraft will then travel across the\ncountry for the next two months, celebrating the movie\u2019s release on March 29,\n2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs Florida\u2019s Hometown Airline, we are excited to bring the\nmagic of \u2018Dumbo\u2019 to our fleet,\u201d said Bobby Schroeter, Spirit Airlines\u2019 Vice\nPresident of Sales &amp; Marketing. \u201cThe themes in Disney\u2019s \u2018Dumbo\u2019 align with\nSpirit\u2019s mission to inspire our Guests and families to take flight with the\nbest value in the sky. This special addition to our fleet is another\nopportunity to surprise and delight our valued Guests and showcase Spirit\u2019s\nfun, friendly service.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the \u201cDumbo\u201d plane takes flight, Spirit also gave away a\ntrip to the \u201cDumbo\u201d world premiere in Los Angeles.
