Spirit Airlines has unveiled its specially-themed Airbus\nA321 featuring a larger-than-life image of the beloved Disney character Dumbo.\nThe airline known for inspiring its guests to take to the skies, is teaming up\nwith Disney to celebrate the upcoming release of its live-action movie \u201cDumbo,\u201d\ndirector Tim Burton\u2019s all-new take on the classic story where differences are\ncelebrated, family is cherished, and dreams take flight. Dedicated to\neveryone\u2019s favorite flying elephant known for inspiring many to soar to new\nheights, Spirit and Disney revealed the new plane with a time-lapse video of\nthe decal wrapping process which took place at Spirit\u2019s state-of-the-art\nDetroit maintenance hangar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The plane will join Spirit\u2019s growing Fit Fleet of 132\naircraft, one of the youngest and most fuel-efficient in the country. The plane\ntakes off today from Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) to Orlando International\nAirport (MCO). Guests traveling between Detroit, Orlando, San Juan, Fort\nLauderdale, and Baltimore\/Washington will have the chance to fly with \u201cDumbo\u201d\non the first three days of service. The aircraft will then travel across the\ncountry for the next two months, celebrating the movie\u2019s release on March 29,\n2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the \u201cDumbo\u201d plane takes flight, Spirit also gave away a\ntrip to the \u201cDumbo\u201d world premiere in Los Angeles.
