In this\nposition, he successfully negotiated worldwide contracts and led compelling\nstrategies for trading pre-owned aircraft in the region while establishing\nrelationships with C-level executives, high-net-worth individuals, aircraft\noperators, maintenance organizations and aviation finance entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Costas worked for Embraer since 2000. Before locating to his\ncurrent home in Portugal in 2015, he held positions in Singapore, where he\nsuccessfully led new aircraft sales for Asia Pacific, and at Embraer\nheadquarters in Brazil, where he was head of the sales contracts and aircraft\ndeliveries area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJose is an excellent fit for our Aircraft Sales and\nAcquisitions Team,\u201d says Steve Gade, Vice President of Aircraft Sales,\nMarketing and Business Development with Duncan Aviation. \u201cHe is well-respected\nand well-connected in the industry, has skills that complement our worldwide\naircraft sales activities and will work hard for his customers. We are proud to\nhave him represent Duncan Aviation in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Building on the success of Duncan Aviation\u2019s presence in\nEurope, Costas joins current Duncan Aviation aircraft sales expert, Tim Barber,\nwho is based in London and has worked with Duncan Aviation since 2017. Barber\nand Costas will provide brokerage, consignment and acquisition services to\nclients throughout the world. In addition, Arjen Groeneveld is Duncan\nAviation\u2019s EMEA Regional Manager for aircraft service sales and support. He\nhelps customers with major airframe and engine maintenance, avionics\ninstallations, paint and interior refurbishment, and component parts support,\nfocusing primarily on large, multi-shop aircraft maintenance and refurbishment\nprojects for aircraft based in Europe, Russia, the Middle East, and Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Costas is ready to help customers worldwide with their\naircraft sales and acquisition needs. \u201cDuncan Aviation\u00c2\u00b4s extensive expertise\nand capabilities in virtually every single aircraft category allows customers\nto have access to precise information that is key for their decision-making,\nwhether they are buying or selling an aircraft,\u201d Costas says. \u201cIn addition,\ncustomers have access to upgrades, modifications and conversions, assuring a\nseamless process and peace of mind, before, during and after a transaction is\ncompleted. He\nalso looks forward to joining the Aircraft Sales team, which has offices in\nChicago, Lincoln (Nebraska), London, Phoenix, and now Lisbon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI have access to the technical knowledge and expertise of\nairframe, engine, avionics, paint, interior, accessory and parts technicians\nfor nearly all business aircraft models,\u201d he says. \u201cThe resources available to\nDuncan Aviation Aircraft Sales and Acquisition customers are nothing short of\namazing. Duncan Aviation even has a dedicated specialist to support import and\nexport paperwork and regulations. This opens so many more doors for my\nclients.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Duncan Aviation is a founding member of the International\nAircraft Dealers Association (IADA), of which Gade is a former association\nChairman. \u201cOur IADA membership is a clear statement that we approach aircraft\nsales and acquisitions in the most professional manner possible,\u201d Gade says.\n\u201cThe association stresses ethics and the building of long-term relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Costas will begin his role with Duncan Aviation immediately,\nand has already set up client and prospect visits in the region.
