The traveling\nexperiential exhibit introduces EAA to enthusiasts through hands-on,\nmember-tested activities engaging people of all ages in aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTens of thousands of people discovered the wonders of\nflight at the EAA Spirit of Aviation tour in 2018, including such distinguished\nvisitors as Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, who visited us when we were at the\nSouth by Southwest conference in Austin, Texas, last year,\u201d said Dave Chaimson,\nEAA\u2019s vice president of marketing and business development. \u201cMore importantly,\nEAA\u2019s Spirit of Aviation experience encompasses immersive activities and\nvirtual reality, giving visitors a glimpse into flight and invites them to be\npart of EAA\u2019s dynamic member community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Spirit of Aviation mobile unit will be making 11\nappearances in seven states during 2019. It also includes promotions for\nEAA AirVenture Oshkosh and the EAA Young Eagles program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s fun, it\u2019s discovery, and it\u2019s a fantastic\nintroduction to the world of flight,\u201d Chaimson said. \u201cStop by and bring the\nentire family. At selected locations, we are even bringing along our own Stan\nLee-inspired superhero, Aviore, who was created through a cooperative effort by\nEAA and the Stan Lee Foundation in 2017 as an inspiration to young people all\nover the world, encouraging them to follow their passions and find their place\nin the sky!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors to EAA\u2019s experiential marketing exhibit will be\nable to build their own Aviore gliders, supported by Flite Test, and take\nvirtual flights with Samsung Gear VR headsets to connect with the Spirit of\nAviation.
