They join Quality Aircraft Accessories of Tulsa, Oklahoma as the only\nRSF\u2019s for AeroForce turbocharger systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are very proud to welcome our friends at Aero Recip\n(Canada) as the first Recommended Service Facility approved in Canada to\nprovide inspections and maintenance on AeroForce turbocharger systems,\u201d stated\nKeith Bagley, president, Hartzell Engine Technologies. \u201cWe introduced our\nRecommended Service Facilities program in 2014 to give aircraft owner\/operators\nwho fly with our equipment a pre-approved network of shops that have the\ntraining, tools, and commitment to quality necessary to ensure that these\ncustomers get the highest level of repair and overhaul services for their\nunits.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bagley stressed the fact that becoming part of Hartzell\u2019s\nRecommended Service Facility network takes more than signing an agreement and\nputting up a sign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRSF network shops must agree to adhere to our set of\nrigorous guidelines,\u201d he said. \u201cFor example, they will be regularly audited,\nthey have agreed to follow our manuals and will maintain the proper facilities\nwith approved tools and equipment,\u201d he said. \u201cIn addition, they will send their\ntechnicians to our facility for ongoing training, and they have agreed they will\nonly use genuine Hartzell\/AeroForce replacement parts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bagley stressed that the requirement for RSF shops to use\ngenuine parts is a significant advantage for aircraft owner\/operators. \u201cSome\nindependent turbocharger repair shops will frequently reuse critical parts like\nturbine wheels and center housings during their overhauls, even though this is\ncontrary to instructions provided in our maintenance manual,\u201d he said.\n\u201cSpeaking as not only the OE manufacturer of these turbochargers, but a pilot\nmyself, I know these parts endure extreme temperatures and rpms, and think most\npilots wouldn\u2019t want to potentially compromise their safety and reliability\nover what equates to a small difference in price that these parts represent,\nversus all of the value that going to an RSF provides. \u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnother key differentiator between an RSF-approved facility\nand an independent repair shop, is that HET requires our authorized service\nproviders to have an appropriate liability insurance policy,\u201d Bagley said.\n\u201cThis type of coverage is proof that the customer is getting the best possible\nwork today and has the added confidence that the shop will stand behind their\nwork going forward.\u201d\n\n&nbsp;\u201cThe\nbenefit to the owners of our AeroForce turbochargers is that they are assured\nthat a Recommended Service Facility will have the parts, tools and training to\nrepair or overhaul their turbochargers to factory-approved specifications,\u201d he\nsaid. \u201cIn addition, these shops are the only ones authorized to provide\nwarranty repairs on our turbochargers.\u201d\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Representatives of Hartzell Engine Technologies LLC, (HET) announced that the company has named Aero Recip (Canada) Ltd., as the first Canadian-based shop in the company\u2019s Recommended Service Facility (RSF) network.
